Promote open access to scientific knowledge: We support you with open access publications— as primary or secondary publications, as well as with the publication of your own open access journal. Working together for greater visibility, reusability, and FAIRness in science.
Publication fees can be covered in whole or in part through publishing agreements (e.g., DEAL Consortium). In addition, the university offers financial support through an open access fund. Find out about your options.
Are you planning to apply for third-party funding and wondering how to organize your data in accordance with the requirements? We offer a tool that guides you through the entire research process up to (data) publication and provide you with individual advice and support.
We support you with ORCID support, DOI assignment, and a publication list service. We also offer analyses of publication behavior and citation metrics—for greater visibility and impact of your research.
There are various options available to you for fulfilling your publication obligation.
LMU researchers can use the Campuslieferdienst (Campus Delivery Service) for free scans from printed books (up to 75%) and journal articles from the University lLbrary. We also offer free scans from printed literature for your learning platforms and student reserve collections. Simply place your order using the form—you will receive the scans as PDF files by e-mail.
Whether research data, open access, citation metrics, or our historical collections — we are happy to support you with guest lectures in your courses.
